There was one near where I used to live in London that had a manger complete with Mary, Joseph, baby, 3 wise men and shepherds with animals all half adult size. The manger was a tool shed thing...they also had reindeer, santa, snowmen and Christmas trees in the garden too,,the house was a 3 storey town house and it was lit up as well....I would hate to have their leccy bill.

How wrong can you get Jasmine. I love writing the Christmas cards, I would usually find a Christmas CD to stick on while I'm doing it. ;D

Someone, I think it was Jilly was talking about nice scented Christmas candles, I wondered which ones she ment when I was looking at them in the supermarket. It's hard to know which ones to buy.

I buy yankee candles LG. They have a lovely scent and they last for ages. My favourite Christmassy ones are Christmas Eve and Cranberry Chutney. I buy the medium sized jars. I'll see if I can find the link to the UK site. They deliver very quickly and they wrap up everything so carefully. I bought my sister a glass tart warmer (excuse the expression - they are a US company) and it was so well bubble wrapped.

The large jar of Christmas Cookie is 50% off - it is a lovely smell but quite sweet if you prefer the sharpness of pine etc...

They have the most fantastic Yankee Candle stores in the States!

I won't buy Yankee Candles, cos they're American, and we have lots of handmade local candles for sale down here, but they are nice, and good value. They sell them in all the gift shops down here and we have a Y.C shop too The towns haven't even switched on their lights down here yet, let alone people in their houses. It usually all happens the week before the day......quite early enough methinks ;D ;D I hate not being able to dust when the tree, lights and cards are up ( don't have any other decorations)

Sounds like you're well organised Barbara, good for you. Bet the boys will love the day out We have the Christmas markets too, they do add a certain something don't they. I spent this afternoon wrapping what pressies I have already and have ordered a family ticket for the Wiggles for Jenny's girls. It's not until May so I'll have to get something else for them too. Ruth Tim and their boys I've already given presents to when I was over visiting so I'm getting there as well. I have about 4-5 people left to buy for and that'll be it. I ment to write my cards this pm but I'll maybe do it tonight or this weekend. My aim was to get as much as I could sorted on my holiday week.
