Well you wouldnt know about it then would you? I like to be organised...hate last minute stuff...although I always seem to have forgotten something and need to rush out on Christmas eve to get it..
One year I forgot turkey stuffing so on Christmas morning I drove down to Southall and got some..thank heaven for little asian shops on days like that.... ;D

When I was at my Dad's I forgot peas and had to dash out on Xmas morning. The local shop was absolutely heaving with people ;D ;D I think it's a good idea, as some of them were elderly and obviously lonely - might be the only human contact they had all day Others were just buying more beer!! ;D ;D

I absolutely like to be organised for things and always early, never late. ;D It's hard to be a gardener and not have patience but it's one of the things I find difficult. I've ordered some bathroom accessories for Jenny for her newly done up downstairs toilet online this morning. The internet is brilliant for things like that. Free delivery from Debenhams this weekend. ;D

It's sad to think that's the only contact some people might have Auricula.

I'm never late for anything either LG.I just hate thinking about things, it always starts me worrying ( I could worry for England in the Olympics and get a Gold Medal) so I do everything at the last minute, then it's done, experienced and ticked off I HATE anticipation, never look forward to anything, but ( funnily enough) hate surprises too Blimey - I sound like I need therapy ;D ;D Actually, I'm generally a cheery person.....just one who hates thinking ;D ;D

are you taking it down before you go Jas?

Post by Jasmine on Dec 5, 2010 18:33:40 GMT
No MRH! We are back before the 6th. I never, ever liked taking down decorations at school before we broke up. It's like turning the calendar over on the 30th or 31st...not good...don't like it. We could go to therapy together Auricula ;D

I tend to take the tree down just before the 6th but leave up the rest of the stuff until the 6th..that way it doesnt take too long to get straight again.

I usually get fed up with it all before the 6th to be honest and actually I'm more likely to pick one of the last days of the holidays as I have time then. You know what it's like once term starts

It's still a nice thought, though. ;D Jas, I do remember what it's like when term starts, so I don't blame you for clearing up while you can.
