Well done on posting your first pic Flup and welcome from me also. I have lots of Succulents around the front and side garden and I dont tend to do anything with but let them fend for their selves I think thats why they thrive away and pop up anywhere. I grew Parsnips for the first time this year they where a bit hit and miss but most have come up, we have had some and they where very tasty but most are frozen in the ground along with the Carrots so I shall have to wait till it thaws some to get some more. Likw you I live in a very old house where the walls are 3ft thick my geraniums are on the living room window sill along with some Fuchsia cuttings and other things I dont keep things in any of my GH's over Winter as I dont have heating in any of them but in the large one I made a plastic tent to winter the rest of the fuschia as I have a lot, it is OK for the bigger plants but not the cuttings. You is only down the Motorway from me about 40 mile away and I am up on the Pennines/Yorkshire border and lots of my plants live outside during the Winter they tend to survive on neglect. Good luck with the Parsnips next season and have a look at our garden threads you will get lots of tips and ideas from them I have. PS not tried Maple syrup on them yet will have to get some as I use Golden syrup as we dont like Honey.
