I like marmite and twiglets I used to practically cremate meat/seafood when I cooked it, but I'm a lot more relaxed now. I'll even eat things that have gone past their best before date if they smell OK. So, I USED to be really fussy, but now, I'll even eat veg! I couldn't eat fish with the head still on though.

Don't like that smoked cheese that is sold in an orangey brown plastic wrapper and looks like an orange sausage.

Some of your lots quirks have had me here are a few of mine for now I prefer tea and coffee or any hot drink in a china mug and I have small, medium and large ones depending on what I fancy. Definately large in a morning ;D Has to be Country Life butter I like loads of milk on cereals so there is some to drink from the bowl afterwards, only when I'm home though. Prefer fresh veg to frozen, except peas Sandwiches have to have the bread round end to square end

Sandwiches have to have the bread round end to square end I never ever make a sandwich like that, for me it's straight on straight or round on round Chuckles, cheese and jam bread cakes/ Nope I would'nt have that either Rosefriend although I do eat cheese and chutney in bread/rolls. Love Nutella on pancakes and little Aoife loves it on toast too but not with jam.

Love this thread.
Coffee....has to be made EXACTLY how i like it. Served in one of 3 perfect mugs that i've had for over 25 years...no one else is allowed to use them. The spoon has to be the right size...too small and the coffee is all wrong. A very heaped teaspoon of coffee, a level tsp of sugar, boiling water just over halfway, topped up with skimmed or semi skimmed cold milk.
Not fussed on tea, level tsp sugar, mug, not too weak.
I rarely drink coffee or tea past 10am
Can't stand plain water. I do however, drink up to 2 litres of Volvic sugar free lemon and lime water a day.
I will eat any food or dinner cold. If i get a takeaway Indian or Chinese on a Saturday eve, i try to make sure i have enough left for breakfast on sunday...straight out of the fridge.
I will also pour half a tin of cold baked beans over most dinners....and have salad cream too.
I despise the smell and taste of pretty much all nuts.
Marmite ?....it's the spawn of satan !!!
I can take or leave chocolate....i sometimes buy a bar and leave it in the fridge for months, much to my wife and daughter's disgust !!!
If i find a single bone in fish, i can't touch another mouthful. I do eat a small tin of mackerel every day though.

There's nothing nicer (in my humble opinion) than cold beans swimming in hot gravy !!!! I couldn't plonk them cold into hot gravy but it brings something to mind... Years ago, I was still young, for some reason we were without fresh veg (Mum was a two fresh veg person to a main meal) and no tins of veg etc and we had braised slices of beef in a wonderful gravy and mashed potatoes...and because she was so used to adding veg, she opened a tin of baked beans and warmed them through - after we all looked at her as though she had lost it totally, we all tucked in and loved the taste of the gravy and the baked beans. Ever after that we occasionally had beans with stew or something braised....

A few add-ons.....
I despise all wines. Ive tried and tried and im very jealous of those who like wine. But every drop of wine tastes like vinegar to me. I also hate most spirits. I love the smell and love cooking with Brandy but can't drink it. I can drink Malibu with orange juice and that's about it....except ale, i love real ale and my home town of Lewes is famed for its superb brewery, Harvey's and sons and Harvey's best is like nectar to me.
I can't drink a single mouthful of beer after i've eaten
I adore prawns and Scallops but not fussed on other shellfish. I adore smoked salmon too.
I eat tons of eggs.....scrambled is my favourite.
Steak.....medium rare always, love roast pork or lamb,
Sunday roast pretty much every week, even in summer, unless im doing a barbeque.
