Ah yes indeed well done. I hope your friend with the bench saw can help you soon as I think your fingers must be itching to continue.

My pal (who's bringing me the bench saw on thursday) just popped round. He's a builder/plumber/master of all DIY trades and suggested i use glass runners and have sliding vents in both the roof and the sides.
So that's what i'm doing ;D ;D ;D

All bottom section now finnished and screwed together (except glazing). Picked up the chop saw today and borrowed my mates angle grinder to cut the door opening. Roof will hopefull be finnished by the end of next week.

Looking really good Andy, great use of the old space. Just been wondering if it would be worth thinking about maybe having some light reflective stuff on those two wooden sides I have used a couple of old mirrors in the back of my GH at times. I found this www.hydrohobby.co.uk/product/mylar_sheeting/ but I've no idea what its like.

I put the boards there chuckles as its against the fence and wouldn't benifit from having the expense of polycarb. However, the 6 (4 x 2) boards cost £35 and the varnish £12 so it would've been far cheaper to glaze it with polycarb (£45 for 10 sheets of 4 x 2) I will paint the inside white probably Chuckles but i think that a 10m roll of cheap Tescos foil for 45p might do the trick. The green is only there to protect the wood from rain annd humidity.

Tescos foil for 45p and a few staples/drawing pins sounds just the job Andy ;D

First part of the roof is now on. Still got loads to do including cut the coor out, glaze it, add guttering, make a door, fill in the big hole that was the deep end of the pond etc etc

Do you have a local freecycle website Andy?? You might be able to get a bit of stuff off there for your wonderful greenhouse. People get rid of all sorts on ours and so do I, its great.
