I bought one of these yesterday at the GC as it appealed to me
Was a bit worried as it was on sale in the indoor section with the house plants but it said on the label it was for the border and a garden plant
Now when googling it the info given is that it is for tropical climes so now assume an indoor plant which I dont want
Anyone grown one

Very hard to grow in my experience....they do indeed need high humidity and other tropical conditions. Think i tried a couple in the palm house many years ago at work and they died

I've been there Jenny, many moons ago though.
Take it back and tell them you want a plant thats suitable for our climate, ( or get a gnome.)

Notcutts is a well known chain of Garden Centres Jenny - they started in Suffolk and are usually very good
