That's interesting Isabella - I've never tried just potting on one of something but I tend to keep things until they are quite big and bunny proof and some fresh compost and feed seems to get things going.

Blimey!!! Mine are dinky in comparison, although I do have them in clumps rather than split into individual specimens I got a forest - albeit miniature ones x Tig

Amazing difference isn't there, just goes to show how beneficial it is. I've mentioned this before, I always pot on plants that I buy so if I don't get them planted for a while they are still able to grow into better stronger plants.

Excellent example of the difference potting on can do to the look as well as the growth of the plant Isabella. I too try to pot on new buys, just to give some fresh nutrients if nothing else. I do think that seedlings look happier very quickly when you pot them on.

I try and be good about potting on but I do forget sometimes and just get them in but I have some drumstick primula's which are being potted on as they outgrow their pots seeing as I have grown them from seed I'm being very careful with them, bet they all turn out pink after this
