I've noticed a lot more folk have their decorations up now, I've passed several. Our Christmas lights are being switched on tonight and the continental markets have arrived and will remain at city hall until 19th Dec. ;D

Jasmine I do hope you can get something sorted at some stage with regards to your pics. I bought some Christmas cards today and a little clothes line with tiny pegs (golden) to hang my cards up on. ;D

It seems that today is the traditional day to make Christmas Pudding. 5 weeks to go. Does anyone make Christmas Pudding?

I'm the only person who likes it - we have a chocolate log for Christmas dinner pudding.

I'm a trifle person, I just love it but I'd eat Christmas pud on another day.

My Mum used to make several Christmas puds and have them as puddings dotted throughout the year! I like trifle too - with a bit of sherry in it!! ;D

We have a system, with all the list on labels, so I get to stick labels on envelopes instead of having to do it by hand. Naturally, I am the Christmas card writer in this house.. Labels are such a good idea but so impersonal - its like getting a circular or bill thru the post I can usually tell who my cards are from by the handwriting - so exciting i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd161/GWDAdmin1/Smilies/Default/smiley.gif

No it's good to see them Jasmine, your tree will look very stylish. I think I'll go for blue and silver or maybe blue and gold..

Here we go Missy. I was trying to think of a way to describe the colour and I've come with 'old purple' - like old gold! Half the baubles are shiny and half are matt and I loved the beady strings so got 2 lots of those! I should have kept them underwraps if we're having a compy! Noooo ..you can show any of your decs and trees - if you want them in the compy then send a copy to admin....see later posts... RF

I like those Jas, very tasty, so tasty in fact I reckon they are 'plum' coloured ;D If you have gold with them it can be 'plums and custard' My Christmas tree will look the same as it always does ... eclectic! I've finished all my gift shopping today I will write my 'year of news' letter on the PC and then tailor it to suit my 'long distance' friends and family. I too run off address labels Geranium, at least they all get delivered that way! I've not got very neat handwriting these days, bit scrawly. x Tig
