I can't see how it would do any harm Tig, when my sister makes her cakes she gives them a "drink" a couple of times after she's cooked them. Last year we were knee deep in snow around Christmas and Jenny and I had a 4 hour drive to get to her house. Nightmare journey at times but we had a good old laugh too, it was like a Christmas card most of the way there. I'm hoping it'll not be like that this year.  Amber, it sounds wonderful, so relaxing with no dishes or tidying up to do.  |

I love the watering cans you get at Wyevales - I've got red, pink, blue, green and yellow - all scattered around the garden. They look really colourful when they're all together!

That's a great pressie Isabella, as Amber says, something to really look forward to. You'll have to organise a rota for folk to look after your plants and garden. We just buy small gifts for each other, for us this year being together is the best gift of all. |

I went out for lunch with a friend yesterday and we went to one of the local GC - I bought some gorgeous deep purple decorations as I fancy gold and purple on the tree this year! ;D

Yes, they had a much brighter purple that would have looked good with silver - my friend and I weren't really happy with purple for the word to descibe the baubles I bought but I can't think of another one. |
