These half hardy annuals are often recommended for rock gardens. Ive seen them come through winters in the past and i'd love to grow some next spring.
Any experience on them surviving ?

Yes, I have several that have come through the last two winters, much to my surprise! I also grow D. vigilis, D. rigiscens and D. personata, all of which are hardy in my garden. I'll post photos later.
