You didn't really respond did you Jas? Sometimes these 'scams' just want to make sure they've got a 'live' email addy - I delete them unread x Tig

Yes I did Tig - I often do! Usually my emails get bounced back but once I got an answer telling me it was for real! ;D I know Barbara - I should have negotiated 85% for myself! ;D

I get loads telling me my bank account has been compromised. Which is interesting seeing as I don't have an account with them.

Jasmine a friend here had a similar situation - it was a Spanish lottery win scam. A friend here got in contact with me for some translating work which I still do now and again - he has been mailed by some people in Nigeria. I very quickly found out that it was a "419'er scam"... home.rmci.net/alphae/419coal/en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Advance-fee_fraudIt is incredible the lengths that they are prepared to go to - very dangerous and with the information that we have have we are now both helping Interpol... Oh, that's interesting RF. Mine came from a Chinese email adress and presumeably if I had shown any interest rather than marking the English I would have been asked for money to get the ball rolling
