Christmas Tree Competition
A bit of festive fun which doesn't require anyone to do anything extra, just share your decorated Christmas trees with us and members can vote for their favourite. Everyone's taste is different so there are no rules apart from it must be a 'tree' and it must be decorated for the festive season. It can be small, medium or large - whatever you have basically. To enter, just send a pic of your tree to Main admin or me (it doesn't matter if you have already posted a pic on the board) before Sunday 18th December. The Poll will start on Monday 19th until Christmas Eve. The GWD Advent Calender will open again from 1st to 31st December 2011

This sounds like fun too RF. Nearly time to get up in the loft and dig out the Christmas boxes

Do you ever sleep? I bet you are out and about so early because you are eyeing up the woods to see if you can find the perfect one . ;D

Lots of Christmas Trees in the woods near where I live and Macclesfield Forest not far away Not that I would of course as I already have one This is a good idea having the comp will motivate me to get it out of the rafters in the garage

I always want a real tree but OH always insists we have our artificial one This year, I don't think it'll matter what we have as our mad kittens will wreck it, whatever it is ;D ;D

It doesn't matter if it is real or artificial - it just has to to be a tree - with or without kittens being part of the decorations......original idea isn't it - a cat as a bauble..

I'm not sure whether I'm going to decorate my tree this year, or just cut out the middle man and put them on the floor ready for the cats ;D

Pudding brought in a mouse at 6am this morning, in trying to get it out from under the sofa, I found some decorations under there. They weren't under there earlier this year as I'd cleaned when I'd reorganised so they must've been somewhere else, played with again, and then gone under the sofa.
Dunno where they are again now.

It's not just because I've got a kitten either, with it being her first Christmas etc. The older ones are just as bad. Every year my tree looks like it's had a stroke after a day or two by the time they've finished diving into it

Well all I can say is they're lucky the lights are uplugged!!
I remember coming downstairs at my friend's house once and seeing this pair of eyes staring at me from in the tree- one of her cats had climbed up inside. Scared the bejeezus outta me.

I loved the Advent Calender funny ;D Fortunately where I put my tree is out of reach of Cat - she is a bit odd anyway, which is why she fits in with my life x Tig

How many Christmas tree pics can we submit? The boys do their own creation for their rom - can I do a picture of that and our main one?

If you have 3 trees then 3 pics can be admitted - no problem, just say which is which.

Its very rare for my cats to get balls off the tree I usually give the youngest 1 to play with and end up finding it in June
