Here's a list of the seed's we'll be sowing this year! Are you sitting comfortably? Then I'll begin...
Celery Lathom Galaxy Oregon Sugar Pod Oregano Turkish Rocket Carrot Flyaway and Parmex (which were free) Watercress Parsley Chicory (although this is on the "possibly" list as we didn't bother with it last year) Borage Salad Leaf Mix Tarragon Courgette Defender Sage Tomato Ferline, Roma, Red Alert (don't remember buying these!) and Vilma (free gift I think) Broccoli Early Sprouting and Late Purple Sprouting (free gift) Parsnip Beetroot Boltardy Turnip Snowball Onion Winterhardy (already in but will probably plant more) Coriander (already in-doing successive sowings because we use a lot in soup broths) Swede Marian Basil Sweet Genovese Curly Kale Leek Musselborough Runner Bean White Swan and White Lady Radish Cherrybelle Pak Choi Salsify (once again, on the possibly list as we didn't bother with it much last year) Chinese cabbage Sugar pea ann Sweetcorn Northern Extra Sweet Cucumber Burpless Tasty (if I can get the buggers to grow past 3 leaves...) Melon Orange sherbet (free gift)
;D
That's not including the fruit trees and bushes we've got and the flower seeds I'll be sowing...
Now, just because we're sowing all these seeds, doesn't mean we'll be successful or harvesting all the produce lol

Nice selection there TT, should keep the wolf from the door and provide plenty for the table I love turnip snowball, and have got more to sow this year, but must remember to sow in succession rather than a lot all at once Think the trick with cucumbers is not to sow too early, and once they get going water from the bottom, or put a tube by them to get moisture down to the roots without wetting the growing point, oh and feeding them of course x Tig

And when I say "we" I mainly mean the hubby... ;D I'll do the seeds, he'll do most of the other bits and bobs. I'm limited to what I can do as most bending and physical stuff sets my head off We did the spuds in bags last year, but I think he wants to do them in the ground this year. Oooh and I forgot the mushrooms in the shed. Here's a link to the "garden" album on facebook in case you need reminding of the size of the 'plot'. The veggie patch has been sort of extended to the other side of the path too now, but the fruit trees and bushes need to go in somewhere and the asparagus is on the other side of the path in the raised border bit, and the strawberries are in the next one along. www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.435584139119.226196.755734119&type=1&l=4021512cd0

The garden has basically been transformed by the hubby (with help from my Dad) over the last 18 months. I'll take some more pics this weekend to show how it's changed since it was changed too lol Hubby's adjusted the veggie patch so it's a little more accessible. We can't turn one side over at the moment because we've not harvested the broccoli, chinese cabbage or curly kale from last year...

For those who aren't on FB...
Today I sowed some spring onions, 2 varieties of leeks, 2 varieties of courgette, autumn squash, melon, 2 varieties of sweet pepper, beetroot, 2 varieties of peas, 2 varieties of beans, sweded, turnip, celery and spinach. Hubby planted the 4 varieties of tatties and turned over the veggie patch ready for 2 varieties of carrots and 2 varieties of onion. I'll sow 4 varieties of Tomatoes, Curly Kale, Radish and 4 varieties of Broccoli, along with anything else I feel like sowing tomorrow!

That's a long list TT, do you have a heated greenhouse for them?

We have a parasene heater in the greenhouse, but the hubster hasn't put it on as it's mild here with us being near the coast. I give everything I grow 2 choices... lol

Oh, did the 4 toms and broccoli today. Hubster sowed some carrot seeds, planted the onion sets, cleared the strawberry patch of weeds and dug a load of rotted manure into the patch he's dug over.

I'm going to stick to staples this year I think. I've not had much luck with the plot in the past few months and am well behind.
