Anyone have this fantastic dish for dinner ? We have this religiously on mondays after a roast on sunday. Every one is different....i just chuck all spare potoatoes, veg, stuffing etc in a blender and pulse it until roughly chopped, add an egg or two and fry it until nice and caramalised (burnt) Sometimes i add the leftover meat from sunday....today ive put some leftover roast pork in. It smells devine and tastes better

I do it sometimes, Andy, with left-over veggies plus an onion. I haven't ever added eggs, though, nor whizzed it up in my blender. Worth a try -thanks.

We never have left over food - one thing I can manage in the kitchen is to cook the right amount for 2 ;D

I cook extra on purpose, Auricula - It's a cunning plan. Me too...i always do extra on purpose so we get bubble n squeek on mondays The eggs are there to bind it together if it's a bit dry but i usually rough chop it in the blender or use the masher by hand.
