Instead of buying those little puds from Sainsburys that are about £1 each I thought would make my own - turned out really nice Here is the recipe Serves: 4. 2 tablespoons golden syrup 75g (3 oz) plain flour 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder 2 large eggs 100g (4 oz) caster sugar 100g (4 oz) butter, softened Preparation method Prep: 15 mins | Cook: 5 mins In a 1-litre microwave safe mixing bowl, add the golden syrup, turning to coat the bottom and sides of the bowl. In a separate bowl, place the remaining ingredients and beat well for 2 to 3 minutes. Spoon the mixture on top of the syrup and spread evenly. Cover loosely with cling film and cook in the microwave on high for 5 to 6 minutes. Remove and let stand for 5 minutes. Turn out onto a warmed plate and serve hot with hot custard and/or extra syrup. SIMPLES Not a very good photo - one large slice already missing i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd161/GWDAdmin1/Smilies/Default/huh.gif

That looks great - I had the recipe somewhere and have lost it so I will try this - got some home made rather runny strawberry jam that would be lovely instead of golden syrup which we don't have here...

I've no idea I often wonder but it is only about 6 months old and I would have to go look at the instruction book - it has five settings so I cooked it on High setting
The syrup runs inside the pud too - ;D
