How are your Courgets this year so far? I planted mine under cover in April until mid May and have only just had the appearance of the first flowers.
I am in Cheshire and cannot remember if this is late or normal time.
Another peculiarity is that my Toms have 5 trusses of fruit but there are no ripe fruit to pick as yet. Last year in my garden diary, we picked the first ripe Goumet in mid June. My Gardener`s Delight are just beginning to produce fruit which are at least 3 weeks before they will be pickable. They are all grown under heat from February until early May.
Inspite of the mild winter, things seem to be behind last year with its hard winter.
Any comments?

I have 6 plants 4 in the GH and 2 outside and the ones outside are looking very sad but there is 1 fruit on one of the plants but not a lot of flowers, in the GH I have picked 2 so far but have lost quite a few on the 8-ball ones I think it may have been just too damp in there for them but yes things are way behind this year I have just got some teeny toms coming on the Black Russian in the GH, I live up in the Pennine hills further North from you to us going to Cheshire is like going to the Med its always warmer down there than up here. ;D

My Tomatoes are rubbish this year. I sowed too early and they went all leggy. I'm only starting to get flowers and that's only on a couple of them. My Courgette are doing fine if a little behind. They're only producing male flowers at the moment but this usally happens. They should give female flowers soon all being well.

My cucumbers are still teeny tiny, it seems like everything up here is late.

Ours (courgettes, squash, cukes and melons) are all doing quite well in the greenhouse. They do appear to be getting the white mould on them though

I have picked our first `Goumet` Tomato and at last 4-5 others are now ripening. Last year we picked our first Toms on June 8th so due to the disgusting so called summer we are 1 month behind with our usual cropping time.
The GH was heated from mid February until early May and even so, they are only just becoming ripe. Seed is sown in the heated conservatory and when about 1 foot in hight they are moved in 6 inch pots into the GH. I recon this year my Toms will be costing about £1 each!!!
