Wasn't sure where to put this - please move it if it is inappropriate. As you know, Pastors can have some intense times. The last couple of months have included two infants airlifted to a children's hospital, and a member with terminal cancer. I left directly from her funeral to a week long school. One of the infants airlifted is fine. The other is Downs Syndrome and will have to have open heart surgery in a few months. I will be baptizing her next Sunday. I am still working with the grieving husband. We have had three women diagnosed with breast cancer who have been undergoing treatment, the sister of a member who died, and the father of a member in the hospital. My Dad got married. My garden has been a place of solace, as I intended it to be as I set it up, although I'm not spending as much time there in this heat. Now that I am back, I am working on moving everything out of my office and converting our sun room, including insulation, so we will have a place for our daughter and granddaughter. I leave July 13 to get them, it is three long days of driving to get there, then three days home! We will spend about a week getting ready for the movers while I am there. So, please don't worry if I'm not around for the next few weeks. I haven't forgotten you!

I know you must receive lots of spiritual support and guidance, but sometimes it must be a bit emotionally wearing doing your job Bobbie - hope a group hug will let you know we care Good luck with the move, it will be great to have your family in sight, you can share in all the joys and no doubt a few woes too x Tig
