My lot like Mince beef and onion pies, meat & potato, cheese and onion which you can make as Pasty or pies, I sometimes get a tin of chicken or beef Curry and make a couple of pies with that which OH loves. The Minced beef is just mince with Onion into a pan with half pint of water plus seasoning add 2 Oxo cubes and cook for 30 mins, use a slatted spoon to put meat into pie case but do put some juice in but not too much as it makes the pastry soggy, cook for 30mins at 180.c heat up the remaining juice and serve with chips, mashed pots or whatever you like, very quick and easy, you could use left over chicken just make a white sauce and add mushrooms or just use a chicken stock cube. Or you could do bacon, mushroom and egg pie like a quiche, dont forget to do the fruit ones for pudding as well ;D I usually use either a saucer or a side plate depending on how many its for, once its frozen you remove the plate but I do have the tinfoil plates as well for larger servings or the cassarole lid which works just as well. Dont forget Cheese and Onion pies which I just love home made ones I usually use 3 different coloured cheeses which makes them look very nice when cut open. Hope that helps you a liittle RF

I've just made a dozen sausage rolls. I use sausage meat, onion, and chopped parsley, and season with black pepper.

I make pasties with leftover beef from a roast. Cut up into small cubes. Dice some carrots, swede, turnip and potato into 1/2inch or 1 cm cubes, pop in a microwaveable casserole dish with just on inch of water and a little salt and cook on full power for 6 minutes, stirring halfway through. Add some chopped onion and cook for a further minute. Drain and allow to cool, then add cubed cooked beef and seasoning. Line a pie dish or saucers for individual servings with shortcrust pastry and pack with filling before adding a pastry crust. Cut a couple of holes in the top to allow steam to escape and cook at Gas 5 for 30 minutes. Serve with gravy and seasonal vegetables. We love the mashed potato, mustard, cheese and onion rolls I make with puff pastry, and they reheat very well. Never frozen them as they don't last that long I have used the same mixture in a pastry lined dish without a crust on, and frozen that, sometimes the onion goes a bit soggy when reheated though. x Tig
