Had hopes for the new Martin Clunes comedy "Warren" but we only managed 10 mins of the first episode..... it was dire!Thank goodness for GBSB and Masterchef for light, mindless, viewing

No CTM tonight Derry Girls is back - does anyone watch it - it's a bit politically incorrect but we think it's funny! It's on too late during the week though so OH is going to have o download it again!

Funny you mention Derry Girls Jasmine. Ruth was chatting about it the other week, she has watched the whole of series 1 and as you say, very un pc but funny. I've it all downloaded and have watched a couple of episodes. Apart from the awful accents (Jenny won't watch it for that reason) I think it's very funny indeed. Dreadful language!! There's a new programme called "Proven Innocent" starting 18th on Universal, it looks good so I'll record it anyhow.

We've only got Freeview and most of the dramas available are a bit sad and bleak No decent comedies on either I watch Masterchef, and Sewing Bee as a bit of light relief

It's not that the accents themselves are'nt original Jasmine, it's that I don't like the accent from that part of NI. Ruth does'nt mind it at all.

Ahh, I see Ladygardener! I just love any sort of NI accent and I love the idea of those teenagers growing up in a brave new world where everything had changed but not really changed.

Brave new world indeed Jasmine, thank God things have changed.

I started watching ''the Bay'' last night, I'm not sure I'll stick with it, I already don't like 'Lisa'.

I'm not sure I'll stick with it either Barbara, it puts me off when the police are lying from the off! You'd hope someone in the position of family liaison officer would be totally honest.

I was actually laughing out loud which is something I rarely do. I hardly notice the accents now that I've seen most of series 1 and the first episode of series 2. I just wish the series were longer.

I wish each show was longer than 30 minutes Ladygardener. The Saint with the broken head was very irreverent, I love all the mums!

Just watched episode 3 of The Derry Girls which was very funny and then watched NCIS and Kate was shot by a double agent - rubbish - I was hoping she would bounce up again

I cried buckets, it just hit me, you know? Of course it was the Omagh bombing and I was there that day. I hate it when they kill off characters you really like Jasmine.

Oh my word Ladygardener. In the one we watched yesterday there were armed soldiers and that's the Northern Ireland I remember as a child, and armoured vehicles in the street. I guess it makes it more realistic if you are in a job like the NCIS folk. She and DiNozzo seemed to be getting closer...not to be

Yes, it all seemed so normal to us 'tho Jasmine, Omagh is as you know what is called a garrison town so when I was still at school, we made friends with the forces kids and used to go to the army camp all the time. I really like DiNozzo and Ziva was my favourite.

I don't remember being scared Ladygardener, it was like an adventure, the things we got up to! He's a really cheeky chappy, not one you'd probably want to be in a relationship with though! Did Ziva come after Kate?

Yes Jasmine and she's a big character. I dread to think what you got up to. But surely life was somehow more innocent then, no internet or mobile phones.

So much more innocent Ladygardener! I was thinking about what we were talking about while I was pootling about in the garden - we didn't care who we were playing with religion wise, who'd have known, you wouldn't ask - small children don't do they? I'd quite like to see NCIS in order, I just dip in and out. I don't think I've ever seen one that didn't grab my attention.

That's Baptiste done and dusted, something less bloody for a while now, I might look for a few films to watch on Sunday evenings.
