Oh you couldn't pay me to watch that (Chainsaw Massacre) - I remember watching the first one and thought it was cr@p!
Instead we watched the highly acclaimed (NOT!) and beautifully acted (NOT!) Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer. Well actually we watched about the first 50 minutes and got so bored we turned it off!!!!! ;D ;D ;D

We've got it on DVD. Don't think about the books, the radio show or the original series, then you might enjoy it! They've missed an awful lot out but I think it's very good. I'll be interested to read what you think! ;D

I may watch HG2G tonight - not sure if I will like it - I remember the first BBC series. I tried to watch it, but I'm afraid that by the time OH said "Is it me, or is this a load of bo**ocks?" I had to agree with him Had the same problem with the book, everyone raved about it but I couldn't get into it

Ha ha ha - NO you crease me up ! I have to agree with you about Hitch hikers guide tho - I thought it was complete and utter twaddle. I quite liked the book, but that film is roobarb ;D I will be watching Richard Hammond (phwoar) and Evel Knievel (not phwoar) tonight as Karl has put his foot down apart from that I haven't a clue whats on telly over christmas - Wizard of Oz, Great Escape, Eastenders, Cora knocker et al I expect. Not bothered I will be sleeping me dinner off ;D Oh oh oh ecxept for Dr Who - cant wait for that ;D

Thoroughly enjoyed Top Gear night last night. James May definitely blossoms away from the other 2 (very good in James and Oz's Wine thing) and his My Sister's Toys was very entertaining. Top Gear itself was of course fab (repeat Xmas Day-yippee!) but I felt sorry for poor little Hammy struggling with Evel's ego. and the weird people he was meeting

I watched Christmas at the Riviera (already seen the Black Pearl ;D) - anyway - despite a lousy write-up in the paper I quite enjoyed it, I like Warren Clarke - he has a face that was meant to play a grumpy Grinch x Tig

We watched Top Gear and enjoyed it although it wasn't the best of the series. I did like the little glipse of DT though! And I thought To the Manor Born was boring!!! I've still got the Dr Who special to watch though - we recorded it over Christmas. We didn't watch much over Christmas but the best thing I thought was seeing Mrs Henderson Presents. I've seen it before and think it's a GREAT film! My dad's face when she said the "F" word - it was a picture!!!!! ;D

I was so looking fwds To the Manor Born but turned it off after 15 mins
Penelope Keith looked nothing like Audrey but Peter Bowles hadnt aged much at all - sorry Penelope - I will continue to watch her as the Lovely Margo in The Good Life - got a spare set of videos free if anyone wants them - I acquired two sets in error - think about 7 or 8 in total

It's a good wee programme isn't it Jenny? Reality TV, but without the bad points. On the whole, just ordinary people with ordinary jobs and houses.
