Joe is really funny and for that reason I think people vote for him; Cheggars isnt funny but tries to be
I am bored this year with it I notice Torvill and Dean havent done much skating but then I may have missed it; i should imagine they want to give their bodies a rest
I dont have a favourite this year

Joe is funny in a farcical way, I agree Jen - but the title of the programme is Dancing on Ice and not Playing the Fool on Ice! It just makes a mockery of all the hard work that the 'celebrities' and their partners who do have some skating ability are putting in. Perhaps next year they can rename the programme Celebrity Pantomime on Ice, that way the entertainment value will be higher on the agenda than the skating.

I think Chris has a lot of ongoing injuries and that's why they are'nt dancing much. For me DOI has lost it's sparkle a bit, I think there is'nt enough skating and too much lifting. I wish they'd bring back the required element every week.

Yes that's a point Lady so many lifts Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Agree Tig Joe and Chegg could have their own panto show - shame those that are talented and those that are not but like most Talent Shows it isnt all about talent anymore is it

It must be hard to take if you've put the hours in and are aching all over because of the toll of it all and then you see someone getting through who can barely skate at all. Still, it's up to the public to vote for who they like, It would'nt be the same if everything was down to the judges.

That's very true LG, I shouldn't moan as I never spend any money voting You used to be able to see how much effort each celebrity was putting into the competition by how much they had improved each week, and having to tackle the 'challenges' was a key part of their skills and competency development. The female skaters just have to put their trust in their professional partners and hold their positions during lifts, whereas the male celebs have to learn how to lift & hold, how to balance and how to stay upright on their skates all at the same time. x Tig

I agree, I think it's much more difficult for the male skaters.

Yes I thought so too Jas! If Joe doesn't go out tonight there is no justice. All the others were miles better!
Cheggers did a really enjoyable routine, he has got an affinity with the ice, very flowing mover, considering his age and shape!
Anthea might be in the skate off again, I hope Joe is!!!!

Loved how the disco music fitted their ages. I quite liked the songs that were chosen!

I enjoyed it last night. Lots of chemistry between Samia and her partner. I thought it was a fair enough result in the skate off.

I am so surprised that the females are not skating alone I know Robin gave Anthea low marks because of this - even Samia didn't let go of her partner - surely - as some one that can skate - solo skating is so easy in comparision to what they have done so far; the high lifts and Samia's head banger - Jason is always right I agree with all he says just wish Karen wouldn't get annoyed with him I know he jumps in when he shouldn't but he gives the programme some grit Why do we never and never will see Tony Grubba - the V.O - we never saw "Our Graham" in Blind Date - most odd

Thanks for that laugh out loud moment. Now all the lads at work think I'm a total basket case !! Maybe It will grow on me now that bloody turner woman has gone, but I doubt it. AND what's the story with the Craig Revel-Horwood wanna be bloke. What a nasty git he is :-(

Tonight we have what they're calling "The Leveller" The heat is on! This week, the contestants will be facing The Leveller: a challenge that sees them skate alone for a portion of their routine, without their professional partners there for support! Whose performance will be on another level? Take a look at their training pictures to find out...
It'll be interesting to see how that goes. Some people can obviously do well on their own but perhapts others will not make the same impact. I hope poor old Keith does'nt end up in the bottom 2 again tonight.

I still cant understand why they have the nerve to be lifted ever so high and be head banged yet still too scared to skate alone - will wait and see what happens
Bet Anthea Turner will be either in IACGMOOH or the next Celeb Big Brother
