They are still totally in time with each other....and they make it look so easy too

Matt & Beth deserved to be at the top this week but I am still having trouble warming to her, she is a good skater though.

I agree that Beth and Matt were great tonight. I was most impressed with Beth and think she came across very very well. It's not a spoiler to say who went out as it's already been shown, unlike Strictly where the public generally don't find out until the following day.
I felt sorry for both the boys in the skate off but despite the little stumble I think the best skater and performer won.

yes definitely LG..he is a good strong skater unlike Shayne who never really looked comfortable when skating

I agree with you Missredhead I thought Shayne always looked uncomfortable on the ice. I never took to him on X Factor either 'tho.
I think it really was a shock to see them both in the skate off. I was pretty sure Joe and Samia might have been in the skate off. She did'nt look at all happy tonight and Joe......

It's worse than the John Sargeant fiasco on SCD years back! Why would anyone continue watching when the people who can skate a bit or a lot are being voted off?

For anyone who gets it and is interested, British Eurosport 2 is showing Ice skating from the 2013 4 Continents Skating Championship in Osaka this weekend and I think monday too. I've been watching some of it yesterday and today and it's been great.

Thought Karen and Jason were going to have a major fall out over the depressage (sp?) lift.

Tig I'm with you on this. I ff most of it including some of the boring skating. It was the worst week so far in my opinon. It has become repetitive and mundane with too many ad breaks. We rarely get to see a proper professional perfomance from the professionals or Torville and Dean. There's not much to see in the result show either. I'm not surprised there is'nt a tour this year.

You are probably right Lady not much interest to create a tour in fact the celebs are little known celebs really well most of them

Someone was telling me on this Thread that Chris has had a lot of injuries and can't skate to the standard he was used to. In fact they have to give up one day, sadly, I think they are in their 50's?

Yes I'd heard he's had lots of injuries but it's hardly surprising given his long skating career. I think the right person went home last night too.

Now that Joe's gone I watched tonights performances. Enjoyed the team dances, Matt's lot were the best I thought. Samia or Keith should go out tonight in my opinion, although they didn't have as many 'wobbles' as some

I think Keith was the better skater at least he lets go of his partner and skates alone

Samia has such confidence when she is with her partner don't know anyone else who would do the head spin without hands but wish she could skate alone more
