Yehh! The good thing about watching it on telly is you get to see 'in' the gardens and you aren't looking at them through the crowds.

...nor does it take 20 minutes to find the exit but you don't get to ride on the platform of a special Chelsea bus with the conductor either!

Nor do you get to spend 2 consecutive over nights on the Penzance / Victoria National Express coach

I notice you haven't felt the urge to go on a coach trip, just for the ride since though Auricula I'll miss not seeing you 3, but I think you do get a better view of the gardens on TV, but they probably can't dedicate as much TV time as we would like to the pavillion.

Enjoyed tonight's sneak preview. This is the one and only time I wouldn't mind being a member of the Royal Family - you could get in tomorrow and have a good look round! Laurence L-B's gnome was very fancy! To be expected I guess!

Loved Lawrence's gnome - he really is a good artist. Chris Beardshaw's garden looked lovely.

I watched the preview as well and really enjoyed it. There's always great anticipation with the Chelsea Flower Show. I'd love to be going along with Her Majesty tomorrow. Chris Beardshaws garden looked good but I'd like to see more, he does seem to have put a lot of emotion as well as effort into it and he spoke very honestly about his arthritis. I've got everything on series link I think so should'nt miss any of it.

I've just seen today's lunchtime half an hour. I like the planting in Christopher Bradley-Hole's garden and I love the water feature in Ulf Nordfjell's garden. Looks like someone may have a full-time job for the week making sure nothing ends up in the water! Paul McKenna was a strange choice of celebrity to chat to

I'm so glad you're able to watch some UK programmes now Rosefriend. I'm looking forward to seeing Prince Harry's garden. Maybe he'll have visited today with his Grandmother!

I forgot all about the lunchtime show, still it should be on the i-player. Unless I'm very much mistaken B&Q were supplying the plants for Prince Harry's garden, there was quite a big display of plants used in that garden when I was in there on Saturday, it looked like it was mostly forget me nots There was one garden on last nights show that really appealed to me, but typically I can't remember which one it was, but I think it might have been the Christopher Bradley-Hole one Jasmine

His is the garden with the burnt oak background and the blond oak pillars which make a walk way round the edge Jilly...I think...you know what's its like trying to remember whose garden is whose! Chelsea has just been on the local news as Roger Platts is a local man and has designed the one and only garden that looks at gardens at Chelsea over the past 100 years. Prince Harry's charity is called Sentebale, he founded it with Prince Seeiso of Lesotho and the name means forget-me-not. Good choice of flower for this time of the year!

I can't remember the names of the designers of those gardens Rosefriend - I loved the planting in the cottage garden (was that the one where they said he used a cherry picker to look down so the plants could be placed in exactly the right place?) - I think it had the word 'Mind' somehow in its title
