I've been reading that Flavia and Vincent with some of the cast of Dance 'Till Dawn show will appear on The Royal Variety Performance, televised 9th Dec. I think. Quite an honour is'nt it but I do remember Camilla being shown around the strictly set and she said she was a big fan. I can just see her and Charles, curled up on the sofa on a Saturday night watching their favourites dance around the floor. Perhaps they get up and do a little dance too.

...and I expect they're both good at ballroom! Not sure what their Paso would be like!

Oh I don't know Jasmine, it could be quite dramatic.

They could whistle up an orchestra, couldn't they! The lackeys could organise that, I'm sure. Buckingham Palace has a ballroom!

Did you enjoy them, Auricula? Were you surprised at the 'losers'?

I did enjoy them Geranium especially as I could FF over Bruce I thought Fiona and Mark would be the next 2 to go, but Ben was VERY wooden all the way through so it wasn't a major shock ( OH is in a tizzy about losing Kristina ) Mark must go this week though, surely? Tess' dresses have improved methinks

I have to say that Brucie is getting on my nerves more and more. O.K. in small doses, but he never stops! Yes, I think it's Mark's turn to go this week.

I see they've released the names of 3 of the celebs who are going on the Strictly tour next year. Ben, Mark, and of course Natalie. As to the list of the professionals, the Jordans are'nt on it this year.

I was just thinking of the wide variations in age of the people who watch Strictly. Both Jennys girls, Hannah and Aoife, love the show. They offer their coments r.e. the dances and music which is quite funny. They also know the names of all the dancers and of course have their favourites. Aoife has to have a vote for Patrick every week and Hannah is a Sophie fan. Aged 5 and 7, with Jenny watching and me watching, we have 3 generations of us enjoying the show on a Saturday night.

I think that's a great part of the appeal of it Ladygardener, there aren't many shows like that these days. Are you OK for taking over the spoilers again this week Auricula? No problem if not, I'll add you on to the spoiler PM now that you're back, so that one of us can put it on there for Geranium.

I really enjoyed the dancing tonight though the scoring was a bit dubious at times. I think Sophie was undermarked, Patrick and Suzanna were overmarked. I enjoyed Marks dance and was impressed by him tonight and I was pleasantly surprised that Ashley did the rumba well. I thought I might have to watch it behind the sofa, but I liked it.

It was fun to watch Strictly with the girls, they liked everybody and all the music. They're good at pretend waltzing themselves. I too thought Sophie and Brendan were slightly undermarked when the judges seemed to be handing out 10's willy nilly. I think there was a bit of strategic voting last night by the judges. Although we all like Patrick, even I could see the mistakes last night but he still got 10's. But then I'm all for conspiracy theories.

I enjoyed them all last night too, thought Sophie and Abbey did really well, Susanna made a few mistakes with her footwork but it was a quick quickstep Mark had more movement and he is so enthusiastic. I'm surprised he's up for the tour though after the problems with his knees! I'm hoping this is his last week, the others do put in a lot more dancing. Anyone else think it was a bit weird having Natalie on the trapeze when only the other week she had a bad back? I know I couldn't do anything like she attempted to do with my back the way it is

I thought it was the right result for Mark and Iveta to leave but I thought Susanna should have been in the bottom 2 not Ashley. Change of subject but has anyone seen the awful new website that DS has.

I ment to say, it's good that BF is'nt going to be there at the weekend, he's having another day off. Claudia and Tess will be doing the show.
I'm not keen on the swingathon, I remember them doing it before and it's difficult to get a true sense of the dancers.

I don't think any of us will miss Brucie...he really milks his 'jokes', doesn't he. I agree about the swingathon - it's too hard to watch everyone at once.

But if you want to go back to the home page you have to scroll right down to the bottom of the page and click there Auricula and you can only see 2 posts at a time. No colour on the pages at all only that mud colour, don't like it at all.

I agree about the colour, but the grey is quite restful and the bright blue stands out. I can see all the posts as usual in the regular format and to go to the home page I just use the back arrow Who do you think is vulnerable this week?
