I know what you mean Missy but I love the smell of hyacinths! Has anyone had flowers from Bloom and Wild? I got some for my birthday - they're the ones that go through your letter box! They were beautifully packed and protected when they arrived but quite dehydrated but this is what is left 8 days later. I've had to get rid of the freesias and some sort of asparagus fern type thing that was dropping everywhere. I'm quite impressed. This bouquet was called Indian Sunset and is supposed to evoke the colours of an Indian sunset!

I've not used that company Jasmine but those are lovely. At the plot yesterday I picked 3 pink Hyacinth, they smell lovely and once my phone is charged I'll post a pic.

They have lasted well Ladygardener, although if I sent them to anyone I think I'd say not to be disappointed about how they arrive - they soon rehydrate. The company send good paperwork with the flowers to help folk know what they've got and how they will arrive and then develop.

M&S really do sell some pretty roses atm.
It's funny, I have some really nice vases but I always use this one...a jar I received one xmas years ago, it had scented bath crystals in it, and had a cork plug lid. I use this one and old jam jars more than any or my posh vases!

That's a lovely vase Cheery! We now have a Market Place at school on a Wednesday, quite pretentious and expensive, but I treated myself to some flowers this week (we get a staff discount). I love the flowers they are using at the moment.

Gorgeous flowers Ladygardener, they're a beautiful colour! Spraxia and briza from the garden and Alan bought me the sweet Williams in the background.
