They're a great colour Barbara. I should have taken a pic of mine before I gave them all to The Plum Man.

Not from the garden - 3 bunches of Waitrose daffodils - just love the little rogue one! Proud to be different!

Oh yes I see it Jasmine, they're lovely are'nt they. Lisa bought me a few bunches from M&S yesterday and they've opened out today. I got some for a couple of sets of neighbours who have been poorly to cheer them up a bit.

That will definitely cheer them up Ladygardener, especially in this cold and snow - nothing like a little splash of yellow.

Jasmine, when I first started planting Narcissus bulbs at the plot the idea was to use them for cutting. Well, I think I've brought some home twice or three times, they look so good growing in the ground, I'm rubbish at cutting them.

I plant lots of things to cut then hardly ever do Ladygardener! A lot of the daffodils are frozen flat - I hope they recover otherwise there will be a lot of daffodils to cut for the house!

Barbara, Rosefriend, both lovely. I'm always afraid to bring mine indoors in case there are earwigs in them.

Seemed a shame to bung the iceberg roses in the brown bin, they smell lovely, but are staying outside because I did spot an earwig in one of them!

Last weekend I bought a reduced bouquet in Waitrose and then split it up as I wasn't sure about tulips and roses together so I got these.... I love the way tulips do their own thing! Also got 14 roses but they haven't all made it to this weekend so this is what is left...

It's so lovely to have fresh flowers in the house especially at this time of year. Love those Snowdrops, I love how Tulips move themselves as well, no standing up straight for them.

It's lovely Ladygardener, bought my first daffodils today! Other lovely tip - the candle is from Aldi and they are 'fake' Jo Malone candles - they are so close in smell I was amazed! My lovely Northampton friend gave it to me!

I bought 4 lovely lemon polyanthus to plant in a pot by the front door , left them standing on top as I meant to buy some compost !! I couldnt get out to buy it so they are now in the greenhouse as they were covered in snow this morning. My small bulbs outside are stretching as well Dutchy, I can just see yellow tips on the crocus I thought I had bought a blue mix.!!!

Ah maggy, sometimes one buys bulbs in good faith and then some oaf who did the packing goofed. I have had that with Dahlia too. And yes, I always go back and complain. With some luck your yellow tip is yellow because the cold got to it and it froze so instead of one healthy crocus you see a rotten one. That would at least mean the rest is going to be blue.
