It starts tonight, don't forget to set a series link in case you miss any. I'm quite looking forward to it, I'm undecided at the moment wether I'm pleased Sharon Osbourne is back or not. I'd still like to see Simon on the pannel.

I'm so glad Sharon's back - she's sooooooo much better than Tooleesha. She makes me laugh! I wonder if that 'rock' guy will come back tonight and wow the judges? I loved the last lady who looked so shy and diffident, but what a voice!

I managed to avoid it, by sitting the girls in front of it whilst the adults had dinner They couldn't believe that Grandad nor I had never seen an episode of it

We both like watching it, Auricula, sorry! It's quite fun watching the judges' expressions.

Last nights show was even better than saturdays. I like it when they perform before the audience and the 16 year old girl with stage fright made me cry a little. I'm glad she got through.

Did anyone watch last night? I was very uncomfortable with the new format - all those tears from the disappointed girls.

I agree with you Geranium if you are refering to the 6 seats format, its stressfull to watch so god knows how they feel. Watching it now

I don't think the judges like it much, either, Chuckles. Thank goodness that part is over. It went on and on last night, didn't it.

I think in principle being able to change who sat on the chairs was a good thing. It ment that if someone sang who the judge really thought was much better the judge had the option to add them to their houses. In the past, if you were at the end of the singing list and were very good, then the judge could'nt do anything about it as the 6 had already been chosen. What I do think was wrong was that they did'nt seem to make it clear to the contestants that their seat on the chairs might be only temporary and was not safe and did not gurarantee they would go to judges houses. They all have their stories and some are able to control their tears more than others. I agree that as it was presented on TV it did'nt seem fair.

I've got it on at the moment, I recorded it. It must be so nerve racking to have to sing right in front of Robbie Williams. He and Sharon did'nt give much away while the artists were singing.

Well, I was a bit surprised at some of the choices the judges made for the final 12, but hey - they're the experts. I'm not keen on the girl with the silly hats - the flowery ones. She must like flowers - she had a belt made of them last night instead of a wreath round her hat!

Doesn't anyone else watch the X-factor? They had a 'flash vote' for 8 minutes and picked Shelley for a sing-off tonight. I wouldn't have picked her for the chop.

We watch it Geranium but mostly after it's been on and we did see some of it last night. I like the new format where the cameras go behind the scenes and chat to Caroline Flack. I'm not doing a series link this year for the Xtra Factor as I've enough to watch already and Olly Murs is'nt doing it this year. I did think, from what I've seen so far on last nights recording, Sharon was hamming it up a lot and when Louis was walking from the stage at the beginning, he looked really old from a distance. As to the singers, well I enjoyed the boy band, they looked like they were having fun and sung well.

We were visiting family last night and it was on but with an 8, 11 and 16yr old plus 4 adults there was quite a bit of chat going on, did managed to catch most of it. Glad the 6 seat business is over and done with, as you said Geranium it went on and on. I thought everyone did well last night so early on in the show and I didn't think anyone deserved to go but thats the name of the game, I'd not really taken to Shelley tbo though so she would of been my choice. Anyone been to the tours, we've been going for the last 3 years and were so impressed with them all last night Aunty Chuckles copped for buying the tickets again Does anyone know why we didn't see the girl (irish I think) in the going home film clips last week, she was the one that had entered for the 4th time.

No, The venues are a bit far from here, Chuckles. I was sorry for Sharon last night, I didn't think either of the contestants deserved to be in the sing-off. I really don't like the changes they've made in the programme this year. They all seem rather cruel. I think the viewing figures will be down. I suppose the Irish girl clip had to be cut to fit the timing - I can't think of any other reason.

I did'nt like the way Sharon was getting on at the weekend at all. She seemed like she was out of it all the time and did'nt even say anything good about the girls who were in the bottom two. I'd have liked the blonde woman at all although I was'nt bothered at this stage which of them went home. I thought the boy groups were very good, especially the one with street in their name.

I don't like the changes they've made to the programme - but I suppose they thought it would bring in new viewers. It's losing them by all accounts. That Sam is only in because he's so good looking - he hasn't got much of a voice, has he.

Some good, some not so good Geranium. Some of them I just can't take to at all but I thought the little group who went out had potential. Hope they do ok for themselves. What about you Geranium, do you have a favourite?
