Was'nt it great to see it back on our screens last night. Smashing to see Simon and Cheryl back again. There's another episode on tonight.

I don't think we've seen the winner yet, do you? There were some very bad singers, weren't there.

[Ladygardener]

Some of them are dreadful Geranium. I've seen the £ signs in Simon's eyes when he was watching one of the boy bands, I'm sure he was just thinking, yes I could perhaps make some money with them.

[Geranium]

I love it when he rolls his eyes!   I don't think it'll be long before Cheryl tips water over his head - she got really irritated by him, didn't she..

[Ladygardener]

Yes she did but it seems they're great buddies now. Don't forget he sacked her from the American show and it has taken 2 years and a big fat fee for doing this show to get them talking properly again.

[Geranium]

Money talks! But isn't she pretty, apart from those tattoos!

I think the tattoos are dreadful looking too.

My money's on the Italian guy, Ladygardener,  Love his voice!

I've not picked a favourite yet Geranium, although I've been watching it. It'll be better this week because there are less contestants and we can get to know them a little.

I liked Paul in particular last night.   I suspect it'll be Steph to go - not sure about the second one.

I quite like the big boy band Stereo Kicks although Only the Young write their own songs I think. There are some very good singers this year but it's hard to know how it'll all go Geranium, did you enjoy the show.

Yes, Ladygardener, and I agree - there are some very good singers this year. I was right about  Steph, wasn't I! Chloe didn't sing well, I thought - she was off-key in her final song.  I was surprised to see the group in the last two - I thought they were popular?

Yes me too Geranium but they're obviously not getting the votes. Perhaps Cheryl was right, she did say that the crowd was'nt behind them and it seems that this week at least, the public was'nt either. Chloe was definately out of key singing her save me song.

Simon likes them though, Ladygardener, you can see the £ signs in his eyes - and wasn't he rude to Louis about his mentoring of them!

I agree with Simon this week that both the save me songs were dreadful! They were all off key but I'm glad the group "Only the young" got saved. Next week is fright night, wonder what that'll be like.

No prizes for guessing we'll get a rendition of 'Thriller'!

I agree - the sing off songs were just painful - the group really should have steered clear of an Abba song.

I was glad to see them go through over the guy 'tho Geranium.

Tbh, I wasn't too bothered either way. There are much better singers (and I don't mean Stevi! )

rolleyex Speaking of which Geranium, did you hear about him and Simon on Sky news this morning? They were pictured having lunch in a Harvester place and it made the papers. Must have been a very slow news day!

Ben has a decent voice I think.

We haven't got Sky, but they were talking about going on Saturday, so it doesn't surprise me, Ladygardener. I hope Simon enjoyed it!  I agree - I like Ben, but I also like Lauren, Paul and Andrea!  I think it's too close to call atm. Andrea was the favourite but now it's him plus Lauren.  Who knows? It all depends on Joe Public's whims.

Often it depends on the song they sing as well I think Geranium don't you?.

I expect it does, Ladygardener, but OH and I aren't 'current' lol, so very often, the songs are new to us. I'd like to know the average age of the voters - I'm sure that makes a big difference. People seem to be voting for entertainment rather then the good singers, too. (Stevi!!! shockex)

Of course entertainment is a huge factor Geranium, everyone likes someone with a bit of personality don't they. I'll say no more about Stevi except I hope he goes out soon. He's a bit of a con I think, all oh look at me on the x factor stage while in fact, he's been on stage in London before in one of the big pantos, or so I read somewhere. rolleyex

Well, I thought the right person got voted off, and I wonder who it'll be tonight? I don't think it'll be Stevi - he's popular even tho' he's blotted his copy book, or so it seems. Simon is seeing £ signs with the boy band, isn't he, Ladygardener. For the first time, I didn't enjoy Andreas's performance - I hated his 'look'.

I think my favourite is Ben.

Ladygardener, what did you think of the latest eviction? I tended to agree with the judges - Lola was a tad screechy and she isn't a patch on Sam Bailey from last year. I just knew that Stevi would be voted back, didn't you?

Yes I agree Geranium, after that performance on Saturday night there's no way he'd be going home. I was thinking this weeks the sound quality was poor for some reason. A lot of them had bum notes but I did enjoy the halloween theme, did you? Ben would be my favourite too although he was'nt up to scratch on Saturday.

Some and some, Ladygardener, as I thought a few acts were OTT, to be honest. They do go a bit mad with the flashing lights, don't they. Vote Ben!!!!! Paul is good, too - pity Simon seems to have taken a dislike to him. I also think that all the publicity about Simon going to the Harvester gave Stevi an unfair 'boost'.

Yes it was ridiculous Geranium. I was saying to Jenny that it even made the papers and then they showed a bit of it on Saturday night! for goodness sake!

Ladygardener, I suppose that anything Mr Cowell does attracts the media.  I was wondering if that was the first time he'd been to a Harvester! Very down market for him. I wonder who picked up the bill?
