Has anyone ever had an Indian Head Massage and did you enjoy it/would you recommend it?
I'm booked to have one in a couple of weeks - done by a friend who has just qualified and needs people to practice on! I feel like a guineapig!!!

My daughter treats her husband to an appointment at the barber's for a wet shave and Indian Head Massage now and again. He loves it. Hope you can miss out on the shave  |

Nooo I don't want a shave - I'm trying to grow my hair at the moment, or at least the fringe anyway. So what's it involve then? I've been asked if I want oils or not! |

I had one years ago, but still remember how relaxing it was !!!
I got it as part of a 'pamper package for carers' and went home and actually fell asleep on the sofa!!!
you just sit in the chair and let them get on with it. .... my amsseuse played (strange) music which was quite soothing, I nearly fell asleep in the middle of it.
I do remeber being told that I musn't drive home staright away, must have a glass of water and no tea or coffee for the rest of the day.
Hope you enjoy yours as much as I did.

OOOH I had a full body massage the other day...it was lovely got another one booked for next month and I'm thinking of having an Indian Head Massage too, let me know how yours goes P. I was told that it includes a neck and shoulder massage as well as the head.

Plocket, my mum does Indian Head Massge and it is blissful  I was dubious when I first went, but really enjoyed it so would really recommend it I normally have the oils as they make your hair lovely and soft (after you've washed it the next day - it looks really greasy before you wash it btw) You can have the massage without oils if you are going on somewhere afterwards and don't want greasy looking hair! Don't know about Indian Head Massage, but imagine I would love it!! My hairdresser's shampoo girl has incredibly strong fingers and really gets stuck in there!!! It's fantastic and sends me into a trance!!  ;D ;D |

My hair looks like it's been dunked in a pot of oil but when I wash it in the morning it should be lovely and soft ;D
Have already booked my next one for next month...treating myself ..I'm having a full body massage too.

No..shes a very lovely lady...she comes to your home to do them....very reasonable too, I couldn't afford salon prices.

Ohhh Plocket - I am envious. I had an Indian head massage at a health farm (it was a friend's hen w/e) and it was the most fantastic feeling ;D ! I don't like ordinary massages very much as I end up feeling pummelled but I can still remember the head massage!  |

It's lovely to hear such positive things about them - I've never had one before but have wanted one for ages. I've had a facial massage and a back massage before, but never all over (blushsmiley)!
