My camellia is no way like opening , but yes when it does the frost turns it to rust. Love that colour Mick.

No I didn't Ladygardener, its not a pretty sight at the moment ! Not sure if it needs rhododendron feed or sequestrion of iron ! It was fed back end but all the rain we have had everything has been washed away! My soil is clay.

I have the usual Snowdrops in flower and the Hellebore. The pigeons and pheasants love to eat the buds of the snowdrops. Life ah well etc and of course some grumps from me. However the Hellebore are safe, or so I believed. I did notice Narcissus being eaten by slugs and now as I took a pic I found the scoundrels on the Hellebore too. See the flowered on the left.
More Hellebore, a pink on the outside. Love this one as I need not look under its skirt. A yellow although hardly to see in the pic due to dark weather. And what I love to bits the Viburnum Bodnantense Dawn.
