she's getting a bit carried away there April ;D nightowl I can just picture your lazy little guy rolling around following the fly lol ;D He's a funny old thing LNG. I've often wondered if he's quite all there For instance, he's always been completely terrified of crackly supermarket carrier bags but yesterday a polythene carrier bag fell on the floor and he's adopted it as his current sleeping spot! Also, his most favourite thing in the whole world is to have his tummy rubbed with a bare foot!!! You only have to stroke your foot along his back and he falls over and spreadeagles himself like a big tart ;D ;D ;D Like this.....

Shadda had a thing for getting into plastic bags. I used to be able to carry him around in them and he'd sit there quite happily.

They're all so precious! LNG, your kitty is indeed brave to stalk the robin ornament in the tree! Ours do the same but they each seem to have their favourite ornaments. Your kitty in the bread basket, Dirty Boots, is just too cute! Looks like a photo that shoud be submitted for a calendar! Little Schmickles and the leaf, ;D Amazing what they'll find or choose to play with isn't it? And it is a great toy! Amazing what they will choose to sleep in too! I'm sure you have a kitty bed or two, NightOwl, but the plastic bag was more comfy!?!?! ;D We have kitty beds but their favourite seems to be a cardboard box, or the cardboard that is under a case of dog or cat food cans. They line up to be the next one to lay in it. Here's Bruno (way up in the corner) checking out our daughter's stuffed animals:

He only ever sat in his cat bed once, and that wasn't for long! That reminds me, must dig it out and take to Charity Shop so a more appreciative cat can have it!

The boys are called Spot and Smudge, when they were born each had a mark on their heads! yes they do have yellow eyes nightowl, not scary though ;D Their mother was all black,we found her here when we moved over from England. The house was a ruin and she had made it her home, she allowed us to renovate it but had to leave here alone. After a long time she came to trust us enough to come inside and be part of the family, needless to say we had her "done" asap. The kittens were born in the boiler room next door and Sooty used to hide them in my riding hat! She sadly died a couple of years ago,we have no idea how old she was.

What a lovely story DB. And how lucky Sooty was that you and she found each other. The cat who adopted us is called Smudge and she brought two of her kittens to us. Such resourceful creatures aren't they?

It is hard to believe that such a small thing can make so much noise NO - luckily our neighbours know that she adopted us I bet they wished she had gone further afield to find a new home this morning though

It was a year ago today that we got Shadda On a brighter note, we've agreed to getting 2 3 month old kittens from a guy at work.(well, I was offered 1 of 2 kittens by a guy at work thru my OH and I said it would be cruel to split them up so I kinda talked him into having both of them hehe). One is apparently jet black and the other is black with cream/white so they should fit in nicely with the black/white pets colour scheme which doesn't really exist anymore since we got Schmickles and Shadda/Percy/Arfer died but it's a scheme I'm more than happy to stick to at the moment lol We're not going to get them until we've moved out and got back from our trip to that there London in a few weeks. Can't wait now! New house, trip to Laaandaaan and then 2 new cats.

Hard to believe it's a year since you lost Shadda - but brilliant news about the 2 kittens - bet you are really excited ;D I've had sibling kittens once before and I'd do the same given half a chance.

No, it's a year since we got shadda lol a month since we lost him. Lost Penny 7th Jan 07 though.
And yes, I am quite excited. I've had a kitten from my sister before now and she kept the brother.
Dunno if they are male or female etc yet though but I know that one is "black black black" apparently.
Will have them within a fortnight if I can help it, hopefully by a week thursday.
