FOR HEAVEN SAKE SWEETLEAF!!! What are you like??? I am not girlie at all and don't "do" girlie things BUT: 1 Get yourself several pairs of flowery/tartan/very pink wellies (for "spares") 2 A thick fluffy duffle coat (for the cold) 3 A waterproof very expensive waxed jacket (for the wet) 4 A very expensive sleeveless jerkin (for the Spring) preferably from a GC so you'll have to pay twice as much... 5 A COMPLETE set of gardening tools (you know your old ones are knackered) 6 A trug, 53 sets of root trainer seed trays, a windowsill heated seed propagator, 25 bags of potting compost (peat free) 7 A trailer for the beast or two (for spares) 8 A practically as expensive as a house fruit cage for your 3rd allotment (you're on the list....) 9 Several compost bins from The Recycled Works (very expensive) 10 Five sets of gardening gloves (for spares) leather, anti thorn, girlie flowery ones for poncing about deadheading 11 Two Shire horses and a plough (well, alright, a book about "How to Plough the Old Fashioned Way") 12 A weekend luxury break for two (but go by yourself....) That should do for starters! I'm sure everyone has MANY other helpful suggestions.

Weeell OK you've twisted my arm (better than being twitter and bisted)
I wont get mad, Ill get even! I need a new wardrobe, and it is Christmas! I really like the idea of a windowsill propagator, some new wellies and some root trainers, spring is only round the corner after all.....and do you know what, I need a lawn mower for the lottie, a push mower, they dont break down or need petrol!
I'm starting to see so many possibilities....thank you girls, you have been a tonic. ;D ;D ;D

It wasn't the mission to buy for your brother - but I'm sure he'll appreciate it!!
Hope the second round of shopping has proved successful, otherwise you'll just have to go back tomorrow. I did notice Per Una in M&S had some nice coats and scarves when I nipped into York earlier today.......
