Mez did steak (from the butchers), boiled tatties, broccoli and glazed carrots with peppercorn sauce for tea and it was delicious!

;D That was such a good idea FB that I sent OH round to the Spar to get some ;D I had crackers and cheese and I cooked OH an omelette, hash browns and mushrooms......thanks FB  |

We are having smoked haddock tonight, I've just skinned and boned them, now poaching in the oven. Will have egg fried rice as well.

Went out for a meal last night to a top restaurant round here Had Steak and Ale pie - it was AWFUL - it had obviously been cooked and then reheated it had that "taste" about it and the crust was so hard couldnt cut it with my knife - was on menu at £12.95  Just three pieces of over cooked meat inside it too - complained and didnt have to pay for it So disappointed Then had bread and butter pudding which wasnt good either To me a B & B pudding bubbles in the heat and has a nice crusty top - this was cold and tasted of cheese cake Not a fussy eater normally but when being charged high prices for food I whinge about it Not sure what to have for tea 2nite  |
