Never tried it but don't fancy Tripe either. I won't/can't eat Lamb, used to love it. Got very attached to a lamb on the local farm, went every day to feed it. It was a poor sickly little thing, anyway it died and I couldn't stand to smell of raw Lamb anymore never mind eating it. It's even made my stomach turn typing this.

Oh YUCK! What vile things to put in your mouth...and then to have to chew and swallow! Actually seafood in general can be a bit stomach turning - especially shell fish. I couldn't possibly write here what mussels look like but think female anatomy and use your imagination! Bleah.......couldn't eat that for a million pounds. My head thinks that if an animal has been killed so we can eat it, it's much better to eat all of it but my taste buds and stomach don't agree. I grew up in the country watching my Nan do disgusting things to chickens and pig heads (try walking in a kitchen, age 5, to see your Nan poking at a whole pig's head boiling in a pan....ears and eyes looking at you.....). Oh dear, I should be vegetarian but I do love a roast once a month..... AND my doctor says all women should eat steak at least once a week particularly when they get to my age..........

Strange isn't it I love shellfish although OH is extremely alergic to it. Kangaroo is delish, although it seems the 'skippy' brigade managed to get the supermarkets to stop selling it. Venison I get on a regular basis, and also pheasant, as long as it's young and fresh is very good too. The old tosh about hanging game until it crawls has long gone thank goodness.

Maybe we're not quite so well suited after all ! Things I hate include Marmite, liver, kidney and anything that tastes of bananas (like banoffee pie for example) although strangely, I will eat bananas themselves. I eat most things (as my waistline will testify !) and fortunately so do both of my children. We had a roast dinner last weekend and both my kids had the full works - lamb, roast tatties, carrots, cabbage, peas, yorkshire pud & gravy. Not bad for a 3 year old and a 1 year old !! FA x

( why do people try to disguise it in with carrot?). Not overkeen on Sprouts either but thats usually because people overcook them.....which reminds me everyone having Sprouts with their Christmas lunch had better get them on to boil soon ;D ;D ;D

Veggies - don't actively dislike, but can't see the point in courgettes, bland tasteless things, same goes for aubergines, okra is another, slimy and disgusting.

Thanks for clearing that up, probably best if I try not to be so clever in the future and stick to easy things!! ;D Skarloey - I may be older than you ;D, but Terry Wogan....old gits.... ,I'm shocked !!! Don't really bother with radio unless it's on in the car when the OH collects me from work - usually five live for the footie (as if you couldn't have guessed that!!!) Forgot to say, I hate Jellied Eels and Bananas (had an anaphylatic reaction to them so best I don't eat them ;D), and I don't like peppers that have the skins on (so much nicer without - no feeling of indigestion!!). Saw Tripe in a butchers shop window when we first moved up here,it looked vile but I had absolutely no idea what it was, so I went in and asked...apparently the colour drained from my face when the butcher told me and then asked if I wanted to try some ;D Most of the time it's not that I don't like something, it's that I just don't like how it's been cooked..... On the topic of tripe, gardenhammerette, I was in Turkey this summer. A national dish there is Ishkembe Corbasi - tripe soup. I have to be honest, it was ok, until we got to the bits at the bottom of the bowl ...
