Oh Susie, Don't feed him too well. If he's p**sed already, he may decide to sleep it off on the sofa and wait and see what delights you will serve up for breakfast

Hi - so sorry SS - my family is coming for dinner Sunday - doggy bags gratefully received !!! Seriously, have been following this thread, thinking you were very brave and domesticated - ( and getting vague ideas!!! - but too shy to post my one recipe!!!!) - so sorry it didn't work out - have a drink and relax. And go and have a meal on them - if you can face his restaurant and him!!! Take care - PA

NOOO! I just popped on just to find out how it all went and I cannot believe him. DON'T YOU DARE FEEL BAD Susie! Pr'aps your friend has made him sleep outside or filled his underpants with mouldy Brie.........what a rude, uncouth and inconsiderate man. Obviously he's a bad chef, his restaurant is struggling as he's upset all the customers and his wife is thinking about leaving him. HUH! Does he deserve any better? NO!

OMG Snowy - I'm just catching up with this thread. what a nightmare ! And what an ignorant @rse ! At least you won't make the mistake of inviting them again. Mind you, he could've got p*ssed up beforehand so he didn't have to taste your cooking...... ;D LOL at 4P's suggestion that his partner fill his pants with mouldy brie - don't go giving Mrs FA any ideas !! ..... or filled his underpants with mouldy Brie......... Although that does seem a wonderful idea, it seems a waste of a good cheese ... (although I Susie will probably think differently) ... Exchange the brie for some fresh horseradish sauce, that will make him dance a bit !!!

What an @rse! Arrogant and ungrateful are two words that come to mind, if they invite you to the restaurant, make sure you get your revenge!

Oh Susie, what an absolute knob! I'm amazed at the sheer rudeness. I would hope you at least get a huge boquet, a bottle of champers and a large box of chocolates and an adject apology. If (and I think it may be a big if) you get an invite to his restaurant, make sure you find fault with everything you are served

Hi Susie
Just catching up with things - what an ignorant waste of space he turned out to be...
But while I remember, I'm in the market for fresh tropical fruit salad with orange liquer - I usually make it with Port myself, but I'm willing to try anything (alcoholic) once!
And before I forget...
"drooling" "Thanks GW, I'll send you a doggy bag"
... any chance of a doggy bottle???

The ungrateful moron! At least you have the satisfaction of knowing you made him a gorgeous meal, even if he couldn't appreciate it AND you could send him home!!! I feel so sorry for all the worry you had, but just think how superior you can now feel. And pity his poor wife!!

OMG! Just catching up and WHAT AN arse! You deserve flowers and champagne, and a grovelling apology - and next time you get to speak to him make sure he feels guilty.
I like all the revenge suggestions, but mine would be to turn up at his restaurant pissed, or at least pretending to be pissed AND video it (or get a friend to). Treat him the same as he treated you, and see how he likes it.
Susie you have my sympathy. Love and hugs, don't let it get you down because everyone here would have loved to have been in arsehole's place.
