CC I sowed lots of annuals from a mixed packet hoping for for some white ones - they were all pink and I ended up cutting most of them down as I was over run with pink Echinacea - this one can stay although its rather leggy.

I have heard Rhody Dum Dums flower twice in a year but never three - WOW Here is my Pink double hollyhock - bit battered and soggy with rain but flowering well and has many buds - sorry bit out of focus it was very windy tonight in the garden

It is indeed Chuckles. It was a tiny dried up little specimen when I planted it about 8 years ago. It smothers the Magnolia Stellata in front of it now and always gives a good display, however bad the summer has been. It's in more or less full shade too.

Just managed to get a couple of pics of my Hibiscus moscheutos "Galaxy". The blooms are very large - 20 - 25 cms, which is lovely when it doesn't rain.......need I say more. and deep inside RF

They really are lovely aren't they - these are supposed to be hardy to minus 20..........mmmh I shall no doubt find out the hard way!!

My Monarda did turn out to be pink after all but I do like it, hoping the other one might be red will have to wait and see.

They looks lovely JL - I used to have a lot but I had so much trouble with Mildew and eventually got rid of them..... a shame when I see yours..

Grew a few from seed last year RF and was so pleased to find one in flower. Will look out for mildew, thanks for the tip

I had some lovely Monardas sown for the BBC trials - I think last year- but they didnt show again this year - are they annuals? Have asked this Q before and no one seems to answer

Thankfully pink comes in lots of shades, some a lot more palatable than others. Fuzzy pink Kaffir lily Late poppies Everlasting sweetpea Japanese anenome/wind flower (shame it doesn't come in a red)

In Germany they call that type of Pelargonium the English Pelargonium - no idea why. There are some lovely tones aren't there and that is particularly nice.
I have taken cuttings this year from pelargoniums for the first time in years and it is also the first time that I haven't had this type.
