It is, but I'm pretty certain that it's Clematis 'Princess of Wales' Quite short growing, and flowers really well. You'll find it easily I should think. All my Clematis are off of a skip, except one I bought from Taylor's when they came up here to do a talk.

Where's this skip hey? I want a rummage I think it's most likely Princess of Wales (renamed Princess Diana coz there's another Princess of Wales ) because of the depth of colour and the really upward facing flowers. I love it ;D

Erm... mines a couple of foot high, and that's about the real size of the flowers. It's a late perennial and I always worry that the slugs and snails have destroyed it before it appears, but as you say it is lovely

I shall look out for that one. At this rate my garden's going to be multi-coloured. Never mind! Here's a humble sedum, growing in not very much on top of a wall

Hi JC and welcome. If you still want to know about the Sedum, go back to it and use the "quote" button, then add your question and everyone will know which one you are asking about.

Ooohh, it's so nice to get one here! I've had new windows fitted this week and have barely been able to get near the pc. Here is my little pink patch, weeds and all: It looks better in real life, haven't really mastered the camera very well. The agastache works very well with the sedum I think, with a purple berberis in between. There are meant to be echinaceas, erigerons and pink achillias in there too, but they are young plants so not done much yet. How do I make the picture smaller? hi this is the pic of the sedum, hope this comes out ok! thanks

Hi JC. I've always known it as Sedum Saxatile, but I've just had a Google and found a site with 1,231 varieties of Sedum listed!!! So maybe it's not so simple!

Roan that is a cracker of a flower, looks like a Hollyhocks flower but the leaves look different, what is it. See you have been posting on the other colour threads but not had chance to look at them yet Been scanning back on here too, GH that Miscanthus has definately got a pinky look to it ;D
