No not at all Ron. My yellow and orange Dahlia go great with the deep burgundy black of Nuit D Ete Dahlia and also with the blue of Little Carlow. White also goes well and lightens the look while orange and red give the border a nice hot feel, excellent for this time of year. It's all about playing about with colours, what goes well in one garden might not be to everyone's t aste.
