That ixia is gorgeous Carol, I'm jealous cos I've bought and planted lots of them over the years and never yet had a flower! Are yours in garden soil or in pots? mine are in pots/containers. They make leaf growth and then just die back

Hi NO, they are planted in Clay pipe containers in well rotted horse manure only, they are near 2 potato tubs and it gets quite windy where they are but lots of sunshine.

I've got mine growing in containers of bog standard soil Nightowl, and they get lots of sun. They've never had horse poo in their lives ;D

Those are gorgeous indeed NO I love lilies This dutch iris was quite nice, with the mix of yellow, white and pale blue!

Rudbeckia Goldsturn, not doing too well now in my soil, must lift and divide this Autumn (and pigs might fly) but this flower's OK.

It's not a Ligularia is it Tig. Your description fits it but not sure if the photo does.

A few yellows from me - the sunflowers are gorgeous - the only ones to survive - all my trials ones died - these are from the bird seed. and this one that I always forget the name of. RF
