Ruthie, that is so funny, because I took a photo of my Water buttercups today, to post here, but it wasn't a good photo. ;D As you say, we hardly notice them, but they are lovely really, so bright and fresh looking. I think I must have been over zealous last winter when I was pulling them out, because I am a bit short of them this year.

I don't think Dutch Iris are used nearly enough, possibly because they are so cheap to buy, folks don't appreciate how lovely they are. There is one called 'Tiger Eye' which a neighbour grows, and it is gorgeous. Have a look, if you dare, at birchwoodplants.co.uk They have a lovely selection of named varieties.

Thats a beautiful colour WT. These are what I have in the yellow department, hope you like them, first is called Grand Cru. Callifornian Poppy, its a lovely pale Yellow.

I'm a wimp when it comes to colour Carolann, so I like the Poppy best. Though the lily is definitely "WOW"
