Just a "little" something grown from dust that responds to the name seed!

Ooo that's unusual P! Did you grow it from seed?

Nooo I found it growing somewhere or other and "weeded" it ;D In fact I thought it was a British Wildflower but I can't find it in my book. It's not quite open yet but when it is it's got a head of lovely orange flowers. If you go onto Google Images and put in Fox and Cubs you'll see some lovely pictures

Not that much Fozzie - I still adore my Rose de Picardy and the like. Hanky Panky has got something though!!! I love your campion - did you grow it from seed and if so where can I get the seeds? Px

Mrs P. My comment was as normal tongue in cheek. Its name is Lychnis, Yes I took the seeds from a plant I eventually lost to those slug things they appear to like these nearly as much as your clems. I still have some seed and as you see more in production. Already sent some to Tig. We grow them in containers now easier to protect!

I guessed it was tongue in cheek Mr F but I felt I had to justify my appearing to be fickle!!! Oh I think I tried them one year and lost them all to slugs. It's nice to see you were successful Px

Beautiful Lilies Tig. You need sunglasses to look at them. This is a photo of a rose in one of the gardens at OM's open day last Sun. It was a small bush but had several flowers on it. I know there are absolutely loads of Roses but this one is quite distinctive. I've never seen it before. It's a kind of brick red almost and the petals have no sheen to speak of. Anyone know what it is?

Thank you for the nominations, I hope it brought sunshine into your view too!! Yeah, like that is never gonna happen WT ;D I took that photo with my oldest digital camera (Olympia Camedia circa 2003) so it just goes to show that you can get a decent piccie without the most up-to-date top quality kit when the mere sight of a plant fills you with joy x Tig
