FA is there no end to your talents? Are you any good with computers? mine is c**p at the moment, really slow and internet explorer wont do anything, just freezes all the time. It is so frustrating.
back to the camera thing, i have a setting on mine just for close ups of flowers etc, and it is perfect. It took me ages to find mind you. ;D CJ

Jenny I've had a scan through the manual www.fujifilmusa.com/JSP/fuji/epartners/ServiceSupportBrowse.jsp?prodcat=710740&sscucatid=664271&sscucatid=664272&item=I664271_664272&NavBarId=I664271_664272Pages 25 to 29 are the ones that are probably most relevant. Try taking a photo on different settings, such as "scene" or "macro". If you use the camera on one of the Auto settings, it may be that the red-eye reduction feature is firing automatically even when the flash isn't and it's affecting the reds on your pictures. Try and find out how to stop that from working automatically and see if that helps. I can't imagine it's the exposure, ISO or white balance settings because you say that every other colour comes out ok. If you can take off the red-eye reduction, it might solve it. If not, try an email to Fuji to see if they have any ideas ;D FA x

FA is there no end beginning to your talents? ;D ;D ;D Have you defragged your disk lately ? Try disk defragmenter ("start" "all programs" "accessories" and "system tools" for me). Use the defrag disk and also the disk clean-up programs. You could also delete your temporary internet files, cookies and browsing history via "tools" and "delete browsing history" in IE7 and also run an adware, spyware and virus check regularly. Adware and spyware can seriously slow your machine down. If you don't have them, Ad-Aware SE personal and Spybot Search & Destroy are both free to download. It's also a good point for JW - the macro facility on your camera will be great for getting specimen pictures of individual plants and flowers JW and it almost certainly won't use the red-eye reduction when you use that setting. I use macro and super-macro settings on my camera to get a lot of my flower pictures. FA x

I did wonder Shrub, but hadn't seen an orange one. Its no use asking at the nursery as there is never anyone around to help - just as well I like surprises (as long as they are not pink) ;D
