Hi
Can I just ask, do I need to submit a purple picture to be in this particular club, or are my credentials well enough established for this not to be necessary???

Poppy, Margi, all you have to do is like purple and looking at pics of beautiful purple plants! There's not even a subscription!

It is Juliet, I bought 2 this year, one has clumped up lovely but the other one looks a bit sickly, they are smashing little flowers.

One vote for the sky blue club - my Morning Glory has FINALLY started to flower. It made masses of growth all summer but no flowers at all and now, suddenly, that glorious blue is popping up all over. Heaven.

Purple or blue? They're not exactly covering the obelisk but they did flower.

I think purple is still my favourite! Although your pansy/viola(?)is almost black. Lovely! It is a Pansy toonia, and was called Black something although it does have that Purple sort of sheen to it. I had some very dark Viola somewhere too.

Sorry about my delay in responding to your questions about the purple passiflora... it was a present, bought from M&S and there wasn't a label on it. I tried googling it but couldn't find an exact match...I did see some absolutely gorgeous other varieties tho! Anyway I don't think that it's hardy...but it's in a really sheltered spot so I'm hoping that with lots of mulch it'll get through the winter. Sorry not to be more helpful (I'm sure M&S will have more in stock next spring...) CPBx
