That's the great thing about Aquilegia, you never know what little gem they're going to throw up.

It's a lovely pic andy, I've got Rhapsody in Blue and in my opinion it's definitely not blue, more of a lovely smoky purple. I'm certainly never growing Cobaea from seed ever again, I got 5 plug plants from Sarah Raven in the Spring and for the first year ever I've got flowers before November

Lovely pic Jilly, well done for getting flowers. I was'nt sure where to put this but it's a climber that I've spent the past few years growing from seed donated by someone on here. Tig or Missredhead I think but I'm not sure. Can anyone tell me what it's called? Anyhow, this is the 1st year I've gotten flowers, it must have heard me saying it was on it's last legs, 3 years is quite enough to grow something before it flowers and my patience was almost at an end.

It was from me LG, and it is a shrub rather than a climber OB has named it for you, sometimes commonly known as Pheasant Berry bush or Himalayan Honeysuckle (I have no idea why the latter is used)

I'm very pleased now to see the flowers on it. Thanks Tig, I think now that it's more established it'll fill out a bit although I'm happy with the position of it and like how it climbs/gets supported by the oblisk behind it.
