These little Crocus are growing on a pot on the windowledge. The sun peeked out and they opened for a short time. I love these.....my crocus never came up at all this year...

Thanks for the nom Missredhead. I wonder why yours did'nt come up. I know that with my garden, over time they disappear but I'm pretty sure it's because I've planted something over them trying to get things into the borders....

Weird how they leave some alone, and others seem to have a sign around their necks, - a sort of "come and get me, I am tasty" from the moment they break the soil.... Had to laugh the other day - German has been giving Spain the fault for years for sending the naked spanish slug over and ruining sooo many plants - experts have recently discovered that the slug originated from Germany in the first place ...oops!!!

Oh dear Rosefriend! I don't suppose the name helped - I guess you could stick any country in front of any bug and then pass the blame! You're right about the varying tastiness - now the bunnies are back with vengeance making up for their absence in the past few years it is obvious that they like some geraniums and not others. I got my bunny book out and there's that fact in black and white! Could be expensive on the process of elimination front!

That a gorgeous pic Jasmine, do you think it would help if you taught the bunnies to read, so that they would know what they're meant to not like according to the books I've got a lovely purple of my own, Tig sent me a piece of her Iris a couple of years ago, you can imagine how long it took to get established amongst my crowds but I've got 2 flower spikes this year.

I love Aquilegia and those are absolutely stunning. The Iris is very beautiful too. I am hoping to grow both in my allotment garden. Here is one of my osteospermums which made it through the winter. I'm not sure if I'm just lucky with that or whether I inadvertently bought hardy ones.
