Thanks both, it was a plant I saw in a NGS garden a couple of years back & searched out some seeds. More of a rambler than a climber I believe Ladygardener, it is quite small at the moment (or should I say they ... think I ended up planting out around 6 of them). If you crush the foliage it stinks, so I'm trying not to do that

Do you find the leaves sticky too, like petunias? Tig, I grew one from seed when we lived in Harrogate, and let it scramble along a raised border....lovely !

Jilly, They're still beautiful to see are'nt they. Jenny has 1 opened and it made me smile too. I think with all this rain the S&S are out in force. I found 2 small bright green catterpillars in one of Jenny's Geums today.
