Oh, Shrub, I think they would be difficult to germinate, bet they need putting in the fridge. I bought mine years ago as a plant.

I'm dead jealous about the mecanopsis - mine didn't come up this year, although I've had it for three years! I have a feeling the slugs might have made a meal of it. The clematis is lush! It could be Multi-blue

I've given up trying to keep Mecanopsis P, they're expensive things to lose! Sooo gorgeous though.

I always think Meconopsis are short lived, but maybe that's just in my garden. I bought one last year, and against expectations, it appeared this year and has three buds. Don't really expect to see it again though.

I tried Meconopsis once. Should've liked my soil, light, acid, leafy in dappled shade. Tell them that! They flowered once then gave up the ghost. I think it's to do with air humidity meself. Norfolk air is NOT humid (except when it's been raining). Remember seeing loads in flower at Dalemain gardens in the Lake District. Wow, wow, wow. Going up there early June so may persuade OH to go there again!

Here's my first flower on Geranium "Johnson's Blue". Taken a few days ago. There are several more on now. Lovely pics Spru and SS. I love Blue in flowers but they can be hard to photograph and maintain the true colour. You both seem to have got it right!
