Just running through my MP3's again.
Currently Sugar Sugar by The Archies.
Always wanted this single when it first came out, and was quite perturbed to only get the cover version by (Jonathan King creation) Sakkarin.
Now moving on to Brianstorm** by The Arctic Monkeys. **How appropriate some would say! ;D

We've just been away for a few days and as usual there was the feud between OH and I as to what we'd listen to in the car...he insists on basically only listening to the albums he's listened to since he was a lad...altho I do love Jethro Tull and Queen I don't want to listen to them all the time...so as well as the inevitable 'Broadsword' and 'Innuendo' (every blinking car journey.....) I slipped in Incubus, Evanescence and Pearl Jam....

I have recently rediscovered online radio station 'The Breeze' broadcast from Wellington, New Zealand. Because of the time difference - they are 11 hours ahead - they tend to play easy listening music at this time of day which is right up my street when I'm working. The NZ accent is a little irritating, but there's not much chit-chat and I suppose because it's a night time broadcast in NZ, not many adverts either. wellington.thebreeze.co.nz/

Nothing at this present time but in a few hours I will again be enjoying the delights of OMD live, this time at Cambridge.
I've also got a ticket to see them again in July at the new O2 arena (the old Millenium Dome).
3 times in 3 months. Not bad huh ?!

*** was the gig just as good as the 1st FA ?? Better ! When I saw them at Hammersmith, it was only the 3rd concert they'd done in 15 years ! They were a bit rusty but last night was absolutely awesome. I was only about 20ft from the stage as well, which always helps ! Looking forward to 20 July now. FA

I love Snow Patrol too. Eyes Open is a fantastic album.
At the moment I'm listening to "Honey" by Lovers Electric. They played as support to OMD the other night and were so good I bought their CD, which I absolutely love. I've played it about 10 times since Wednesday already and I like it more every time I hear it.
