When I saw it glistening in the sunlight I couldn't resist it, was drawn like a magnet I was! (yesterday obviously 'cos it's grey, wet and miserable today - bit like me!)

Another little flying thing! Don't know what, I've looked in the books and can't find it - assume it may be a wasp of some sort, only little though 1/2 inch max .. Looks like it has a black rucksack on his back! x Tig

Not exactly a macro garden critter, but as it must have come in from the garden, it's posted here - though by the same logic 'wildlife' might have been the place: OM.

Well Tig, that's interesting, and fancy me getting pics of 2 of them. Must've been loads around! To tell the truth I didn't even notice what the one on the field bindweed looked like until I put the pics on the 'pooter. My eyes aren't what they were you see . I tend to just snap and hope. You can't even see the photos on the screen when you're outside (at least I can't).

Have noticed the squadrons of dragonflies about the place recently (was about this time last year too) and sometimes find them in the PT - seems the ends are too difficult to navigate for some reason and they become 'trapped' buzzing backwards and forwards along the underside of the roof, even though you can drive a car through there. Anyoldhow, this one seemed confused and a bit tired, resting on a tom: and let me give it a ride to the open air where I cast it like a miniature hawk... flew off strongly: OM.
