That's a good selection you've still got flowering there JL Does Clematis Freckles always flower about now? I thought it was late winter/very early spring i got 3 babies in the spring that have grown quite well but don't look as if they are thinking of flowering.

That's a very impressive selection, Jlottie ;D Like yours, my Solanum Alba is still flowering like mad, as is the Eccremarcarpus, and one Penstemon has thrown up new flower shoots. Ajania is flowering away, but it's supposed to be winter flowering ;D ... everything else is more or less on its last legs, except for one Viola labrodorica which has decided to give us a single solitary flower - obviously confused ;D

Definitely not summer, but no frost yet thank goodness. Usually by now we have had the howling gales and torrential rain from the direction of the Atlantic which is only approx 3 miles as the crow flies - but so far have been spared That Freckle's clematis has been flowering on and off for a while and I don't think it can make its mind up what time of year it is Clem is still going too And the Fatsia Japonica Whats still flowering in your gardens - there must be something somewhere ?

Everything I still had has been totally wiped out by the very hard frosts we've had, even my Winter Pansies are looking sad. Oh, except for the indestructable Solanum Alba!

Geraniums, snapdragons, soapwort, black-eyed Susans, a single red rose and many flowers on the mini-rose known as 'Popcorn'.

Last week's frosts finally finished off the remaining bedding plants but remarkably the passion flower is still going strong at the bottom of the garden, along with several roses, and of course the viburnums in the front garden.

Great Tig. Lucky you to still have so may going. My Chrysanthemums are still going but the rain turned them into strange brownblobs with a hint of colour. Not worth taking a pic right now. I think most plants do not come through winter because of the wet we have rather than any frost.

It's amazing what is still in flower, even though we have had some -5 nights and a lot of stuff has been finished off by this. I've just been up the garden and am amazed to see one plant in particular still looking good and flowering. It was Andy that spured me to try these, he kept talking about the lovely perfume he had at night in his garden from them. So I bought a packet of seeds, sowed them a bit late but am so pleased I did, definately on my list for next year. These are in a pot rather than the garden - Night Phlox

Chuckless any chance on the Latin name for that night phlox? Not much going on in my garden. Still some Chrysanthemum and the Viburnum but nothing else. Unless blooming counts, as in Blooming rain?
